Color Theory

1. Define hue: is the word that best describes color
2. Define value: is the relative lightness or darkness of a color
   
3. Define saturation: word that describes the brilliance and intensity of a color
4. How many colors are available on our computers?
5. Define secondary color: color resulting when mixing two primary colors
6. Define tertiary color: mixing of a primary color with a secondary color or mixing two secondary colors together
7. Define complementary colors: they are color that are opposite each other in the color spectrum

   A Gamut is a complete range of something. The visible color gamut is better

8. What are the primary colors in Photoshop? the primary colors are red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, magenta, and black
9. What are the secondary colors in Photoshop?
10. Define subtractive color model: explains mixing of limited set of dyes, inks, paint pigments and natural colorants to create a wider range of colors
11. Define additive color model: where red, green, and blue light are added together in various ways to make a broad array of colors
12. Is RGB additive or subtractive? RGB is an additive color model
13. What is the CYYK color model used for? it is used in color printing and used also to describe the printing process
14. Define analogous colors: a group of three colors next to each other in the color wheel, one primary or secondary color and one on either side of the color wheel
15. Define tint: shade or variety of color 
16. Define shade: darkness and coolness caused by the shelter from the sunlight
17. Define neutral: having no strongly marked or positive characteristic
18. Define monochromatic: using or containing only one color

25. Which colors are associated with joy? yellow and light red

My Future Vision

My future hopes, dreams, desires. Designed by Telma M. ©2014

My future hopes and dreams that would make me live a happy life include continuing my education. I would like to continue my education in a four year university like the University of California Riverside because it is close to home and I like being around family, If you would like to learn more about this University please go here. I also aspire to have a career that will let me wake up every day and feel happy.

In the future I would also like to have a career were I work with children like teaching.
Having my family around would make me happy because I know that I count on them when I need them the most. Something I would like to do in the future is traveling I dream that in the future I will travel with family or alone and go places I have never been to and learn about all the cultures around the world.

In future plans something that I would like to accomplish and that would make me happy would be owning a home where my future children will live a normal life in a calm community where they can play outside with friends. I wouldn't want to live in another place other then California because I think it's a nice state with great weather.

When I'm old and grey, my hope is that I will be surrounded by the people I love. Family and friends are something important to me and I see myself surrounded by the people  I appreciate hanging out and talking about our life. I would also like to have finished and accomplish all of my goals that I have set for the future when I'm old so I can remember what I've done and been through and tell my grandchildren.

There are various things we can do to change and make the world a better place. The world would be a better place if we all got along and worked together to solve world wide problems. We need to take action towards all the things that are harming and wearing our planet like global warming.




I created this image thinking about all the well known problems around the world that are affecting our society. I put a picture of a man envisioning things that need improvement in the world that if fixed would create a better place to live in.
